This month Urban Jungle Bloggers is all about planters. If you do love plants, you'll surely have a passion for pots, vases, planters too. Probably you are, like most of us, often in search gorgeous ones to add to your collection.

It's quite crucial for me at the moment, as my Purple TradescantiaPhothos and bright purple Coleus cuttings are growing beautifully and will need soon new containers.
Even though, sometimes, I think their rooting stems in water look so beautiful I might grow them hydroponically. What do you think of hydro culture?

For the time being anyway I'm using boxes as temporary home for the rooting cuttings.
The wooden ones in pretty light blue and black you see here below are from Ikea. Unfortunately they're from the Ikea PS collection of quite a few years ago, so not for sale now. Any pretty box you like is good though, provided that it's big enough to host a simple glass of water where you can leave your cuttings.
The blooming Amaryllis bulb does not need a pot. It has been coated in some kind of white wax and won't need water either.

Talking about plants plant holders, I fell in love with geometric hanging ones since the first time I saw them. Last time I was in The Netherlands, I had the most pretty pink Iona Air Plant in my hand. Hanging planters would be just perfect for it, don't you think?
Unfortunately I did not buy them yet, but I promise you they are both my wish list. Christmas is approaching before we know it, after all.

There are more than 650 types of air plants from Tillandsia species that can grow -- and thrive -- without soil. The perfect plant to have if you haven't got a natural green thumb, as they say. Or if you travel a lot, you're busy and cannot nurture a plant on daily bases.

You can buy the above nice hanging geometric brass ones on Etsy here and here.
Hang them or simply put them on a flat surface. I cannot wait to have my own.

See you next time everyone! Happy green time.
