I BUTTERFLY

I came across Japanese brand Minä Perhonen not so long ago, through beautiful Hiki's jollygoo, and felt immediately drawn to its esquisit minimal, slightly quirky style. Looking at the old collections I feel the clothes are beautiful and would just be perfect now, and most probably in the years to come. Minä Perhonen design in facts does not loses its allure nor character through time.
The name of the brand originates in Finland as the designer - who traveled many times through northern European countries - sympathized with the lifestyle and the culture of Finland. Minä means "I" and perhonen means "butterfly". Such a nice name, don't you think?
The brand logo cleverly signifies "various characters (the dots) within oneself ( the rectangle shape)." Just like the species of butterflies are countless, the designs too continue to increase.

Here just a selection of the many beautiful clothes I really like.
Hope to have one for myself, at some point.
Their children collection is also wonderful, as the many textiles I should probably show another time.

  1. I don't even want to check their textiles. Too tempting and too good to avoid buying something.

    1. I know what you mean. On my side I have that -most probably- Japanese sizes would never fit me so that's how I avoid the risk. For now.
