THE 52 PROJECT

Hi!
you know, new years, new beginning and lots of energy to renew oneself and engage in many projects. Everything smells fresh and I feel like I'd do tons of things. In december I did a daily photography project (read here if you want to know more about it) each picture should record of a little special moment of the day, then be shared on Instagram. Through that experience I met new nice people -also taking part of the project- and felt genuinely happy as taking pictures is one of the things I love the most.

I did consider a 365day photography projec for the coming year. Allways wanted to do that, and never did. Selfportrait maybe? I believed in it for a while but december tought me a big lesson, a good photo each day is a huge challenge. This is why my idea turned into a 52 project, a picture once a week. That is a commitment I am willing to make with myself.

For the subject i let myself be inspired by Lena and decided to start a portrait venture of my little Erik.

A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2013.

I know, this is not meant to be only a mummy blog, but he is a very important part of my life and i love the idea of having the beautiful story of him growing told by the end of 2013. It will be hard to take good pictures of him, he's running away as soon as he sees me approaching with my beloved Miss Canon, most of the times anyway.
Well... the more of a challenge, I say.

So thanks Lena for pushing me in this direction. If you are a proud mama like me -but no necessarily- you can follow this project by clicking on this button you'll find among the others on the right side of the blog.

    1. Thanks again :-) can you believe I am already behind? It's soooo difficult to take good pictures of a never-standing-still creature!!!

  2. Stefania, believe it or not, I do know what you mean (I also work doing this - www.korowaj.com **feel free to get rid of the link when moderating my comment**). I'm sure you'll be fine!

    1. marta, I did not realize you were a photographer! I'll follow you but not just now as I am on the pad and don't have flash. The 52 projects is getting harder than I had anticipated. Children are too much of a difficult challenge.
