This month, Urban Jungle Bloggers from around the globe, share their creative ideas of a green gift: offer a plant to a friend. I love this idea: a plant as a symbol of friendship, a great way to express gratitude, affection or simply to cheer someone up.
I believe that plants make people happy!

Giving a plant away is such a good present, I wish I thought of it more often.
If this plant comes from one of our plants it's even more about caring, loving, being personal and joy -something I definitely wish to share with friends.
So I selected a couple of new shoots to give away to spread this joy around and hopefully my love for plants too.

Vaguely inspired by the shape of gems, I made envelopes sewing together pieces of paper from magazines I like.
The result is a bi-dimentional vase -something quirky and nice to present my green presents. The envelopes are big enough to host the young plants wrapped in wet paper and plastic to survive until they are given a new home.

I will try to make as many as possible, add a label for personal notes and ...voilà, e few presents ready.
