Lots of preparations and finally yesterday the mini-party for a mini-man was due!
Just few hours before guests arrival a very heavy rain started to fall.
Oh boy, we had it all organized for outdoors so we needed a quick change of plans.
The gazebo we set up in the garden did help a little, anyway -to my surprise- we managed to fit about 26 friends at home.
Luckily bad weather did not stop the children to have some adventure outdoors anyway: cozy walks under the umbrella + playing with a torch creating shadows in the little tend -activities at the end of which quite a few of them were wet and happy!
Surprise surprise, they even organised a snail race. Yes, among other beautiful gifts, Erik got a little box of freshly collected snails by his little friend Irene.
Kids are great, aren't they? What an idea, it made me really smile.
Meanwhile adults were having nice time indoors as well, I believe. There is plenty of photos to share, so I am going to split this mini-party story. Come back for more if you like.
